Since 1973, we have been committed to providing the highest quality public safety services to the residents of Kent County, Delaware. Our department encompasses three essential services: 911 Communications, Paramedic Services, and Emergency Management.
911 Emergency Communications: Our 911 Communications Center (Kent Center) is the lifeline for residents in need of emergency assistance. Operating 24/7, our highly trained dispatchers ensure that help is on the way when you need it most, connecting you to police, fire, and medical services with efficiency and expertise.
Emergency Medical Services: Established in 1991, our Emergency Medical Services team is dedicated to delivering advanced life support and pre-hospital care. Our skilled paramedics are equipped to handle a wide range of medical emergencies, providing critical care and ensuring patient safety during transport to healthcare facilities.
Emergency Management: Our Emergency Management division focuses on preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters and emergencies. We work tirelessly to develop and implement comprehensive plans that enhance community resilience and ensure a coordinated response to any crisis.
