Kent County Benefits at a Glance

County Benefit Package employees who work at least 50% or more are eligible for the following benefit package: County contributes a portion of the Employee Only Medical Insurance coverage*

  • The County currently contributes 93% towards the cost of employee health care and 80% towards the cost of dependent health care
  • The County contributes 90% towards the cost of employee dental insurance and 0% towards the cost of dependent dental insurance
  • The County offers Life insurance/Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance at 1 times the Employee's salary at no cost to the employee

Benefits start on the first day of the month 30 days after hire date.
