The mission of the Kent County Community Services Administration: Provides management and coordination for the Parks & Recreation and the Library Services Divisions of Kent County Levy Court. The Community Services initiatives are to develop and maintain parks and greenways, offer recreation programs for all ages and operate a public library system which meets the needs of our community.
The Community Services Administration provides:
- Recreation Center: Provides open spaces for recreational activities.
- Public Library: Resources for the community and visitors
- Community Programs: Programs including art, fitness and recreation for all ages.
- Parks: Linking people with nature at a Kent County Park or greenway.

Kent County Parks and Recreation is a division of the Community Services Department of Kent County Levy Court. The Kent County Parks and Recreation Division invites people with and without disabilities to enjoy our programs, parks, and facilities. It is the policy of the Kent County Levy Court that all programs be accessible to all Qualified Handicapped Individuals as provided in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

A Kent County Rec Center "Drop-In" punch card gives you access to all Park and Rec fitness and outdoor amenities. Join us for an event, play in a league or tournament, attend a music, art or dance program. Kent County Parks & Recreation offers a wide variety of opportunities for all ages. Cards are $20 each and are good for 10 individual sessions of any drop-in program. A registration form must be filled out with EACH purchase.
Register for Programs with the Kent County Recreation Center
Kent County Parks & Recreation hosts special events, sports leagues, activities, programs, courses & camps. Learn a new skill, get a great workout, or join a sports league. The is fun for the whole family at the Kent County Recreation Center or one of our many County Parks.

Registration will be accepted through the mail, in person, by fax or online on a first-come, first-served basis. Phone registrations are not accepted. Cost of activity must be paid in full when registering except when stated differently.

Kent County Public Library's hours of operation are weekdays, 9 am-8 pm, and weekends 1 pm-5 pm. Public computers shut off 30 minutes prior to closing. WiFi is available 24/7; generally, the WiFi signal is strong enough to use even in the library parking lot. 24-hour exterior book return.
