About the KYSL "Learn, Play, Celebrate!"
The KYSL aims to enhance opportunities for young recreational soccer players in Kent County. Operated entirely by Kent County Park and Recreation, this program provides various levels of play for youth aged 4 to 18. Participants can develop their soccer skills, engage in team training, and enjoy organized games.

Practice and Play!
KYSL practices and hosts all home games at Kesselring County Park (1683 New Burton Rd, Dover, DE). All games in the league are scheduled for Saturdays, and practices may take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Kesselring County Park. Each team attends their scheduled instructional training sessions during these times. Practice and game schedules will be posted on the website and emailed to participants before the first week of training.
Volunteer Opportunities
To ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for our young athletes, we rely heavily on volunteers. Here are some opportunities to get involved:

Coaches: We need dedicated individuals who can commit to guiding our young players each week, teaching them soccer fundamentals. If you need support with practice plans, our KYSL team and experienced coaches are here to assist you.

Assistant Coaches: Assist the head coach in ensuring that players follow instructions and stay engaged during practices.

Team Managers: Responsible for communicating with parents regarding game schedules, snack schedules, team activities, etc. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.

Youth Game Officials (U8 – U10) and Field Marshalls: Assist with game setup and cleanup, ensuring smooth operations during matches.

Advisory Board Members: Join our advisory board to contribute to the strategic direction and development of the league.
