Apply for a Library Card

Kent County Public Library offers an array of books, audio/visual materials, and more for every age and interest, available to anyone with a Delaware library card. In addition to physical items, your library card also gives you access to e-books, digital audiobooks, movies, and magazines across various electronic devices and platforms. The Library also boasts free public wi-fi that extends into our parking lot, and an outside book return that is available 24/7.

Delaware library cards are free to all residents, and are good at any public library in the state. We also offer special cards for children and teens. All you need is proof of Delaware residency and a photo ID!

Non-Residents
Delaware non-residents may apply for a non-resident card. Simply submit the registration form and a fee to a Delaware public library.
