Notice of Closure for President's Day

In honor of Presidents' Day, all Kent County Levy Court Offices, Kent County Recreation Center, and Kent County Public Library will be closed. We will resume regular business hours on February 18th at 8 a.m. sharp! Trash services for Kent County Customers will not be impacted. Enjoy the holiday, celebrate our leaders, and we look forward to serving you again after the long weekend!

ATTENTION KENT COUNTY GARBAGE COLLECTION DISTRICT CUSTOMERS

Kent County trash customers in the following areas:
Spring Meadows, Twin Willows, Garrisons Lake, Hidden Brook, Northridge. Due to a driver shortage, recycling will not be serviced today February 10, 2025, in these areas. Recycling will be recovered Tuesday February 11, 2025. Please leave your recycling cans at the curb for service. We apologize for the delay and frustration this may cause.

Early start for trash service on 2/11/2025

Kent County Trash District Customers
With snow expected on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, trash pickup will begin early at 5:00 AM. To ensure your trash and recycling are collected, please place cans out on Monday night, February 10th to avoid missed service.
